Martin Beaupre’s artworks are like precious and extremely elaborated soul patchworks. They are created in a time beyond reality, sometimes in the middle of a forest and sometimes under the rain. Painting connects Martin to the energy of ancient mediums and techniques. His elevated spiritual balance, inherited from his Asian cultures and Zen philosophy’s studies, is transferred to his canvas with extreme elegance and refined sense of beauty. “I want you to paint what you cannot see”, says Martin to his students when, in trance, he makes them carry their brushes across the woods in search of “that” special moment of grace. His art studio, his academy and his home are similar to the style of Frank Lloyd White’s Waterfall. His house is surrounded by green moss, Buddhas and facing a lake; peace is found all around it. Everything in his home, including his adorable life companion, Francine, and their daughter, Moana, reflect perfect harmony and love. Feng Shui, creativity, pure lines, simplicity, spirituality, and honesty are the best adjectives to describe Martin’s sublime world and his artworks.

DANIELLE BERGERON
Danielle Bergeron was born in 1945, in Lac St-Jean, Quebec. She studies at the Ursulines School, in Shawinigan. Very early, her professor noticed that she had a need of evasion and a desire to recreate life through drawings, skill she practiced daily. Soon she becomes passionate for the arts and reveals having preference for the impressionists: Monet, Cezanne and Renoir.
In 1981, Danielle completes her studies mastering all of her dreamed techniques.
In 1982-83, she lives in Germany and England.
In 1983-84, she returns to Europe, but this time, she spends most of her time in France visiting museums, schools and attending conferences.
After all her years of studies, hard work and traveling she realizes she had finally achieved to developed a perfect technique for beginners and intermediates and gets deeply involved in her community.
She becomes very active in the artistic organization of her region and her works began to be part of diverse art exhibitions, galleries and museums.
Since 1985-1986 Ms. Bergeron has been living first, in Grand Falls and later, in New Brunswick, where she now has her own art school.
Her paintings are known for her warm strokes and colors; especially her landscapes, which are a romantic version of Realism. From the 90th, her landscape works have become rare to find; they have been part of several Canadian art auctions and are nowadays, the dream of many art galleries.
Martine was born in 1954, in Nicolet, Québec. Her first step as an artist was as portraitist in 1976, but her love for watercolor took her to study this technique. From 1979 to 1994 her art work was displayed in many exhibitions, solo an in group. In 1988, one of works was selected by the Canadian Society of Watercolor to participate in an itinerant exhibition across Québec and Ontario. Two historical national museums, Marc Aurèle Fortin, in Montréal, and Germaine Guèvremont, in Sorel, Québec, have acquired works from Mrs. Bergeron for their collections. After more than thirty years of exhibiting her artworks in one of the most famous tourist destinations of the world as it is, Québec City, Martine Bergeron ‘s paintings are, nowadays, part of numerous national and international private art collections.
AN ENVIRONMENTALIST ARTIST
This is how Linda Bluto likes to describe herself and her respectful artistic approach.Bluto paints with nonpolluting materials such as coffee and water based varnishes. In addition, she is considered as the instigator and creator of the COFFEE-ACRYLIC tendency in Canada, patent in process. Her technique has been acclaimed at the international level and her paintings have been part of numerous exhibitions such as:
Museum of Orence, Spain
Museum Château Dufresne, Montreal
Museum Joao Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil
and several other art galleries accross Canada.
A Typical Day for Linda:
Linda paints in the morning. Her creative process is a very personal ritual. As the first rays of light softly embrace the room, Marie Linda follows in harmony with the moment, intuitively choosing a canvas. With her canvas in hand, all energy converges. She has a wholesome breakfast with organic fresh fruits. Afterwards, she takes a long walk in the woods behind her home. This is the most important moment in the actualization of her work. At this instant, she is in perfect communion with her inner self, free of all judgement. She breathes love and vibrates in rhythm with nature. It is in this state of conscious meditation, when she is completely focussed, that she draws all the inspiration, energy and guidance needed for her next creation.
She returns to her studio at about 10 o’clock. The studio is filled with light and warmth, making it look more like a sacred altar than a studio. Bathed in all this loving energy, Marie Linda appears almost weightless. With fluid movements and glistening eyes, she begins her work without hesitation. She smiles. She feels alive.
JACQUES BROUSSEAU
Born in 1945, Jacques Brousseau lived much of his childhood between the St-Roch district of Quebec City and his uncle’s farm on the Gaspésie coast. From those idyllic days will come the artist’s fascination for beautiful sceneries, as well as his deep interest in depicting the vibrant local flora and fauna. The preservation of the boreal forest and its wildlife is close to his heart.
Jacques Brousseau is a graduate of the Quebec City School of Fine Arts. Over the last forty years, he has perfected his mastery of several painting and printmaking techniques, including etching and aquatint. This allows him to produce richly detailed works in which he illustrates the man-made beauty of Quebec City and the splendors of our seasons, as well as the timeless majesty of our natural landscapes.
Jacques Brousseau’s etchings, all hand-printed, are produced in limited, numbered series, and are individually enhanced with extra-fine watercolors containing mineral pigments and semi-precious stones. His artistic production, mostly on paper and canvas, belongs to private and public collections worldwide.
Lise was born in Drummonville, Quebec. Among her family of seven brothers and sisters she was the only child to be found carrying pencils and paper to draw. In school, she was noticed for being the girl who was always taking part in drawing and painting contests, winning several of them. At 18 years of age, she bought her first set of brushes and not long after that, she had already mounted her studio with everything she needed to draw, paint, sew, take photographies, and do sculptures.
Today, Lise DesRosiers still has her own art studio where she gives classes in: pastel, watercolor, acrylic painting, and oil painting. In addition to this passion, Lise also has become a very successful fashion designer and owns her own store confectioning wedding, ball and fantasy dresses.
“When I paint, I'm constantly looking for lights and shadows. My eyes perceive anything worth of being painted. My imagination is always solicited and influenced for what I see. I express myself with simplicity, realism and in a figurative way. I am passionate with painting, and as an artist, I have decided to devote my life to art,” says Lise.

Carolina Echeverria is no stranger to controversy. Her past exhibits always challenge the social norm in different ways. Her first believe is in the power of a woman to change the current of perception in today’s world. Her second art approach comes from the fact that she is stranger in a strange land, that she has adapted to a new culture protecting her true self and her love for her natal origins at the same time.
This delicate balance is seen in her paintings and displayed in her “Garments for Survival”, a series of metal dresses that combine delicate feminism with the instinct to protect that beauty.
Carolina's paint is fresh, alive, it looks as if it was applied yesterday. Her brush strokes reflect her experience and her knowledge with colors. Subjects containing strong feelings are created with rich reds, ochres and oranges and sweet love ones like motherhoodand pure love are portrayed with pastels, silvers and golds.
Whatever the canvas describes her serenity, beauty and confidence as an artist is always present. another of her favorite subjects is the exploration of street art, body art and idealism.
Carolina, was born in Santiago de Chile, 1964. In 1986, she Immigrated to Canada where she currently works and teaches in her own art studio en Montreal, Quebec .
She also works as a panelist on the CBC radio show Thursday Think Tank, Sounds like Canada.

Julio Ducuron´s extraordinary paintings clearly convey his resolute commitment to both Figurative art and Impressionism. Born in Río Cuarto, in Córdoba province, he not only is a renowned artist but also an indefatigable teacher who actively participates in the rich local cultural life.
his unique works reveal an experienced and sensible substance, since he skilfully approaches landscapes resorting to a broad perspective, sound knowledge and love for beauty.
Bountiful brush strokes that never obscure a flawless design rooted in the best aesthetic tradition, result in astounding paintings, deservedly admired and rewarded in this country and abroad.
His amazing works have been shown and praised in the United States, Italy and even Singapore, a far away and friendly place that owns several Ducuron´s masterpieces.
The wonderful painting shown here is undoubtedly beautiful. Rick was born in Victoria in 1955 and now lives in Sooke. His interest in drawing and painting started in childhood, but the encouragement of a high school art teacher inspired Rick to take a more serious and focused approach to painting. A year after graduating from high school—and after several short-lived jobs in the forestry and construction—Rick returned to art studies at Camosun College. He received an Associate of Arts Diploma, Visual Arts, in 1976. He also studied visual arts and writing at the University of Victoria and received an English degree in 1992. Rick has since worked as a writer, editor, graphic designer, illustrator, and communications advisor. He recently returned to painting full time. In his work, Rick enjoys exploring complex forms and colors found in everyday subjects, using subtleties of light to evoke both the familiar and mysterious in these subjects. Local marinas, historic architecture—and most recently, Sooke’s storm-ravaged beaches—provide much of the material for his compositions
Leonardo was born in 1957 in Florida, province of Buenos Aires). He comes from a family of artists, and was precisely with his godfather, Rafael Angel Faillace, who was a painter and a silkscreen artist with whom Leonardo initiates his first steps in drawing and in painting. Lead always for his family environment, in 1977, he joins the School of Fine Arts "P.Pueyrredón" where he dealed different disciplines under the guardianship of Jorge Tapia and Armando Donnini in painting and under the direction of Beatriz Varela Freire in paintings among many other exclent professors. In 1979, moved by the interest to know the great masters of the painting, Leonardo begins his travels to Spain, Italy, France, England, and Scotland. After his return to Buenos Aires four years later, he finishes his studies and immediately initiates a course of restoration of painting trestle. Nowadays, he deepens the "fantastic art" and in where he treats a painting of an invoice purified together with the technology of the "frottage" with patinas and lacquers. Simultaneously in the drawing, he combines the pastel and inks in the subject matter of the Tango, trying to heighten the sensuality and the movement of the above mentioned style, like this way also trying to interpret the graymelancholy of Buenos Aires. Leonardo Faillace is represented by the Agora Gallery in New York, in USA, and by the Dominguez Art Gallery, in Canada.
Louise was born in Montreal, in 1947. Since 1969 she has been a resident of "La Petite-Nation", Outaouais-Laurentides region. A self-taught artist, she started painting at 12 years old when her father offered her a paint and brush set. In 1995, she decided to devote all her time to painting and created her own studio. Group exhibitions, solo exhibitions, and prizes soon followed. She is actively promoting visual arts in her area and is a member of many associations. «I paint everything I like», a say that is translated in her nature lanscapes by the strong contrast in colors. All year round, her passion is at work. Wind, water, mountain and forest all live inside me. My painting is a long journey in the depths of nature with some forays in the inhabited world. It enables me to go back to the landscape in complete freedom, to see its grandness, its peacefulness and its wild beauties. The contrast and the intensity of the colours in her oil paintings reveal, by the movement and the stoke of her brush or knife, all the mysteries of the wild forests, the flow of the rivers and the spirit of the streams. Being inspired by the enchanted landscapes of the beautiful touristic aera, her works have been exibited in Vermont and Massachussetts. They are part of many public and private art collections in Europe, United States and Canada and can be admired in different galleries

Denise Godbout was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec in 1957 and lived her childhood amidst the scenic beauty of les Cantons-de-l’Est (the Eastern Townships). After completing her studies in graphic arts, she soon set out to travel across the Americas, Europe and the Middle East to go beyond academics and expose herself to a world of incomparable artworks. Whether it was paintings from the world’s masters, cathedrals, temples, treasures of popular art or simply the masterpiece of nature in all its glory, this experience of the sublime opened wide the doorway to artistic creation.
Each of her works seeks to reveal the hidden poetry found within the details of a landscape, a street corner or an everyday scene. Her imagination is nourished by childhood experiences, nature and the distinct charm of Quebec City, where she lives. Her artistic production relies on a variety of techniques, including oil painting and etching. Her approach, which is impressionistic, is distinguished by the play of light and shadow enhanced by her intuition and spontaneity. Her works can be found in many public and private collections throughout the world.

Marta was born in Asturias, Spain. She started painting and art studies at a very early age. She first studied at the Arts School of Oviedo, where she obtained a special recognition. She completed her Visual Arts degree at the Beaux Arts School of San Fernando de Madrid, in Barcelona and in Mallorca.
Her drawing skills, painting technique and choice of colors portray her as a solid artist who is in complete control of her profession. Her knowledge in different mediums allows her to create anything she dreams, wants and sees.
She loves to feel the painting sliding through her hands and to use her fingers to paint without using too many brushes. She likes to reflect intimacy and to create magic and sensitive environments.
She has participated in several exhibitions solo and in group such as: in León, Cantabria, Valladolid, Madrid, Salamanca, Ciudad Real, Orense, and other cities, in Spain; as well, in France, Belgium y Alemania. One of the last exhibitions took place in Prince Felipe de Oviedo’s private theatre, in February of 2007, were her artwork was very well appreciated.
She is a member of the Visual Arts Association of Asturias (AAVA), Spain.
The artist, Kevin Jenne, was trained, encouraged and inspired at a young age by a variety of artistic mentors. He apprenticed under impressionist painter David Drum. Jenne's earliest works depicted paintings reminiscent of stained glass windows, a technique he called "intrinsic illumination". This style was followed by subjects inspired by architectural motifs which he then painted in intense colors. Jenne favors deep contrasting hues that add vibrancy to the scenes. Jenne creates his works in which light seems to emanate from within the canvas.
After a trip to France, where he studied the works of the great masters in the many museums of Paris, he was inspired with a new sense of artistic direction. Jenne then harnessed his high creative energy and between the autumns of 1997 to 2002, he had four solo shows and several group exhibitions in Montréal. These successes were followed by an easy sale at Waddington's in Toronto, and an entry in the Canadian Art Index. 2003-2005 his art work started to branch out across North America. He had a very successful show in New York at the Gallery “Le Sans Souci” which led to a television interview on “The New Yorkers”. During this same period of time Jenne traveled to New Orleans and was inspired by the infectious music and “Joie de Vivre”. Kevin Jenne is currently represented by several galleries across North America. Spring 2007, Jenne was specially chosen to be part of a group exhibition in Beijing, China. Kevin Jenne at late has adopted Mexico as his new muse. By means of his art, Jenne has also been highly active in many charities, which has contributed to raising funds for important community organizations. In, 2009 Carone winery featured one of Jenne’s paintings for their limited edition wine “Joie”.
A huge appeal to his work lies in his impressionistic style and the variety of his subject matters. His inspirations are derived from his many expeditions but the core of this work is based on his love of jazz music. In Jenne's paintings the figures are essential; they interact, telling stories through their body language, becoming symbols representing his life. The figures are painted without facial features creating the illusion of ambiguity and timelessness. His paintings are infused with an inner glow and luminosity that gives each piece a life of their own. He uses intense colors to elicit an emotional response and stir passion in those who view his work.
Alex deLavoie was born in Packington, the south of Saint-Laurent River. She comes from a family of nine brothers and sisters who used to enjoy playing outside in the snow, in the forest, in the ocean, and also fishing. However, due to the lack of work for her father in their rural village where she grew up, the family needs to move to the city. This chapter in her life, her happy childhood memories became then forever engraved in her soul and are now reflected on her paintings.
From a young age she showed signs that one day she would become a great artist and it was thanks to her first teacher, who believed in her and encouraged her, that she followed her heart.
From the beginning of her career she had a great notion of contrast and luminosity and; nowadays, her style, the Naif Lollypop, became recognized as her own. Her ability to paint children and to give them their own particular expressions from their faces is not frequently found anywhere else.
Her subjects are mixed mirrors of her interest in politics, law, architecture, and nature.
Her artistic path as many of other great artists, has not been easy. After finishing her secondary she takes a course in industrial design and completes an university certificate in artistic expression. Later on, she becomes a mother of three, with not too much time left on her hands, but even thought, she achieves to perform in several solo and in group local exhibitions.
In 2000, she adventures to travel the Unites States in her van in search of inspiration and becomes involved in the West Palm Beach Festival.
Her paintings form part of the Magog International Museum of Naif Art, in Magog, Quebec, and of other art galleries across the province. Her artworks have been also exhibited in Belgium and France and are subject of several art guides and magazines.
A copy of a Canadian Art Guide's page and her original certificate accomny her pieces.
LUC LECLERC
Born in Drummondville in “La Belle Province” (Quebec) Canada, Luc LeClerc obtainted a bachelor in Graphic Design with a Fine Arts minor at the Université du Québec in Montreal. After ten years as illustrator and art director, he finally finds in painting a means of expression who combines his creativity and love for nature. His day-to-day challenge is to originate a realistic paintbrush impression, creating atmosphere, causing light and giving life, always anxious to lift the world’s awareness to the planet’s precarity.
Finding solo exhibitions very rewarding he has also taken part in a number of group exhibitions in Canada and Europe: Buckhorn Fine Art Festival in Ontario, Centre d’arts Pronatura in Switzerland, Ottawa Canadian museum of Nature, Land’art international, «Natur’Art» at the Montreal Biodome , Collection du Musée Laurier in Victoriaville. In 2001, he participated to the Robert Bateman’s seminar at the Beartooth School of Art in Bozeman Montana. In 2006 and 2009, he is awarded two grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) with the Conférence régionale des élus du Centre-du-Québec (CRÉCQ). Two Art books are already dedicated to his writings and paintings. Combined to a more significant presence in galleries his works can be found in various countries of South and North Americas, Europe and even in New-Zealand.
JOSEE LORD
Self-taught, Josée Lord has been painting since a very young age. Today, inspired and marvelled just as much as in her childhood, she follows the same exaltation as before. Her compositions are expressive and joyful, animated by her choice of a vivid palette. The interior spaces she paints well reflect her originality. A black contour line, drawn with pastel or acrylic, surrounds the forms. This line is drawn freely with the artist’s fingers. Lord explains that she needs to be in direct contact with the materials she is working with, so that the painting may live in all its sensuality.
Josée Lord, whose imagination is more than fertile, likes to bring forth two very distinct interior spaces. One of her visions, as described above, is elaborate, energizing, and colourful. Her other vision is more subdued and scarce both in colour and composition. These latter paintings have as objective to sooth and calm the soul. True to her art, Josée Lord uses the same black contour line in these paintings as well. Either of her spaces, may it be the very electrifying one or the serene one, are very representative of the artist’s spirit. Both depict a wonderful universe ruled by imagination that enables us to set ours free.
It was twenty years ago, when Louise discovered how much painting seduced her and how time seemed to dissapear from her days when she had a brush on hand. Fascinated she realized that her canvas reflected her moods and energy. Her artowrks became like her inner stories showing her vision of life and her love for vibrant colours. Louise uses colour to create surprising juxtapositions that explode with light, her works are an exude, the happiness of life, la joie de vivre. She draws her inspiration from the quiet moments of her rural lifestyle and from her constant traveling. She monthly visits different cities and towns in search of those picturesque and special angles of buildings which she later matches as precious mosaics. Her enjoyment of people translates into painting in public and has taken her to be part in several solo and group exhibitions. She is also an active participant in various events and cultural exchanges. In May 2009, she was invited to represent Quebec during the painting symposium “Couleurs de Bretagne”. In 2010, she has been appointed honorary president of the symposium Arts et Reflets de Château Richer, Quebec. Her work is represented in several art galleries throughout Quebec, New Brunswick and British Colombia and it is also part of several international private collections.
Michel was born in Montreal, in 1957. Although he was always drawn to painting, he also developed a strong passion for music. After an extensive career stretching across the United States and Quebec as a keyboard player, he decided to devote himself entirely to painting. Constantly honing his technical and artistic skills over a twenty year period, Michel’s artworks are now found in public and private collections throughout the world. PROFESSIONAL TRAINING – Self-taught painter having followed studies in drawing and airbrush techniques.
Leonard is a Western Canadian artist, residing in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Born in 1960, he was raised in the Vancouver Lower Mainland where he spent most of his life. Always a practising artist, he has had other professions including teaching painting and drawing classes to both children and adults. From the University of British Columbia, Leonard has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Professional Teacher’s Certificate. Leonard’s work has been widely collected in British Columbia and Alberta, with some pieces in Europe. Having had work displayed in galleries in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington and California states, Leonard has taken part in a number of group and one man shows. In addition, twice his art has been featured on the cover of Reader’s digest Magazine; this was August 1992 (English Version) and July 1996 (French Version). The strength of Leonard's acrylic and watercolour paintings lies in his expressive style celebrating the flow of nature through the use of broad, loose brushstrokes of vibrant colours and rich tones. He uses the wet-on-wet technique with both mediums. Strongly inspired by the Master, Emily Carr, he enjoys interpreting the spiritual interplay of sea, sky and land of the beautiful coastal regions of British Columbia.
Nicole Gagne Ouellet was born in 1946 in Victoriaville, Quebec. She was iniciated to
traditional and contemporary art through engraving, oil and watercolors at the Quebec School
of Fine Arts.
In 1966 and 1967, she participated in two group exhibits at the Musee de Quebec and at the
Academie St.Louis in Quebec city. She then taught visual arts for two years at the Quebec
Catholic School.
In 1970, Nicole took part in a sixth month study workshop in Europe, devoting herself later
to watercolour. Her works were shown in the famous Rue du Tresor, an internationally known
artist alley in Quebec city.
In 1976, her works were shown at the Galerie Le Gregeois, in the Bois-Francs area. During
her trips to Asia and the Middle East on the 70th she was blessed with the opportunity to
discover oriental art and these traces became forever engraved in her work.
In 1977, Nicole settled in a rural small town. The calm of country life and harmony of
nature provide her the exact peace of mind she needs to reach inspiration.
Awards and Recognitions
In June 1983, the works of Nicole Gagne Ouellet won the second prize in drawing over 600
artists at the Washington Square Exhibit in Greenwich Village, in New York city. Some of her
etchings are included in the exhibit souvenir book.
In 1985, Nicole was chosen among 50 artists to illustrate the Old Quebec City on the
occasion of an International Conference of Psychiatrists. Her etchings were also distributed
to all participants at the Merrill Lynch Conference held in Quebec City's Chateau Frontenac.
In 1987, one of her etchings illustrates the book cover of the literary award for poetry
published in the Quebec city International Book Show.
Gilbert Plante was born in Québec City, in 1945. Until 1975, he studied commercial drawing. From 1976 to 1979, he spent his time traveling until he discovered New Orleans, where he exhibited in Jackson Square for a year. Since 1975 his favourite medium has been oil painting, which he uses with mastery and simplicity. The palette knife allows him to create more sophisticated textures and to portray the three dimensional effects between and behind mountains, cliffs and vast empty spaces. Gilbert Plante’s work is not made over pre-fabricated lines or sketches; it is only guided by free expression. His paradoxical work plays with contradictory emotions introducing us to the relaxed image of energy and movement. The Group of Seven and Zao Wou Ki are the artists who daily inspire Mr. Plante.

Jaime Rodríguez Martínez was born in Spain, in 1952. During the last 25 years of his life he has been teaching Ecology at the University of Malaga. Although his passion and dedication to art remotes to his youth years, it was not long ago that he decided to present his work in solo and in group exhibitions. Being an autodidact painter and using oleo and palette knife, Mr. Rodriguez beautifully represents the different corners of his charming country: seascape-marine deep blue scenes from the Mediterranean, typical villages from Andalucia with cast iron balconies and colorful flowers, arid landscapes from the desert in terra-cotta tones, and figures enjoying life in a land that rarely rains.
DANUTA ROGULA
Inspired by the world around her, and never a camera far away from hand, Danuta Rogula has always had an eye for beauty. Her vibrant personality and creative soul are evident in each of her paintings. "When I experience a scene in nature that has really touched me, the atmosphere, the beauty of light or just the tranquility, I want to share that with others through my painting."
Danuta was born in Poland in 1958. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Interior Design and Industrial Project in 1983 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. "My mother, who was a practical person, sent me to the Technical High School of Architecture. She always kept saying, 'Do not try to be an artist, if you don't want to starve.' " With the birth of her two children, and the immigration to Canada in 1991, Danuta re-discovered painting. It allowed her to take care of her daughters, and immediately integrate into Canadian society; Danuta is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. "Residing in British Columbia gives me ample access to the most inspirational landscape settings. From the beaches and the rainforest of Vancouver Island, through meadows of the Fraser Valley to dramatic Rocky Mountains, these are majestic vistas that stimulate the soul and imagination."
Although traditionally known for her landscapes and nature scenes, her new encaustic series is creating a buzz in Vancouver, British Columbia. "I enjoy exploring different mediums and styles. It is stimulating to switch back and forth between a variety of tools, sizes and motifs. One day it may be an impressionistic image of the forest, done with a palette kinfe. Another day it may be a realistic portait of a pet, done with a small brush, or a large metaphysical vision out of this world painted with a big roller." Re-viving an ancient technique, Danuta creates her encaustic works by painting with molten bees wax. Oil paints are mixed in to lend their tints, and the result is spectacular. Her artwork has been showcased in galleries across Europe and North America. nsectetur adipisicinipsumg elit, ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Marie France was born in Valcartier, the military base up north of Quebec City.
Art and its effects have always helped Marie France portray her inner voice. During her youth she took several art courses and it was in 1990, when she really began painting in daily bases. She felt an irresistible need to be distinctive and to offer a style that was completely of her own.
On her quest to cultivate her spontaneity and to let her inspiration have full rein, she took further training in composition, creativity, ink, dry pastel, and nude drawing with professional artists in Quebec province.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
“I prefer acrylic because this medium allows me to work quickly. A painting often starts with a burst born of instinct and no precise image in my mind.
My creation starts with a bare canvas inviting me to cloth it in color. The first washes of paint are applied
with a large brush and until I am satisfied, I am constantly reworking forms and colors. I create according to my mood, to my impulse and even happen that I completely change the theme and/or colors as I work.
I take my inspiration from what I see in human beings, from what I hear in music, from what I feel in nature and; especially, from what I imagine. I work alone in my studio accompanied by music and by daily introspection and experimentation.”

DEBRA SISSON
Debra was born in 1956, in Indiana, and grew up in a town surrounded by picturesque farmers’ fields and pastures. She was a highly imaginative child and drawing things gave her joy in that it made them seem real to her. She studied art at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and completed a B.A. in art at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arkansas. Watercolor painting was her passion while in school, and she also became an avid photographer which she used to her advantage in taking reference photos of images that she wanted to create later in her studio.
Debra works in oils and she is truly satisfied when her work connects with the human heart in some way. Her animal and wildlife images are painted with the same intent that a portrait artist paints people. “The inner spirit of the piece must come through in some way to the viewer,” she believes. She strives to paint images that are visually compelling and uplifting, and feels her work is always evolving as she endeavors to define what inspires her.
Her passion for animals led her to paint art for people wanting portraits of their beloved horses and pets. It was very rewarding for her to see people become emotional when viewing the finished portraits. Her work has been included in many juried art exhibitions and was awarded first place in 2007 in the national fine art show, “Art Show at the Dog Show” in Wichita, Kansas. She often donates her artwork to organizations which help animals in need, such as Pug Rescue of Northwest Arkansas.
Debra is most happy when enjoying the simple things in life and takes pride in caring for her family – both humans and animals. She has always loved living in the country and is now fortunate to do so again. Spending time painting, gardening, and enjoying her beautiful surroundings on a few acres in beautiful rural Arkansas continually provide endless hours of enrichment for her soul as an artist.
Norma Beatriz Zaro was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Her passion for animals and for nature is reflected in her wildlife art, her favorite subject. Her concern for environmental problems and for the extinction of animal species impulse her to portrait themes appealing to human beings’ conscious. With an incredible attention to details and with an intense research of colors, Mrs. Zaro, evokes not only the beauty of wildlife, but also, our need to preserve it. Mrs. Zaro’s paintings are part of numerous worldwide private art collections.
